2020 album sponsorship
We are looking for some Land of Color friends to partner with us in releasing our newest album entitled “Show Me What It Means”. The new project will be released independently so we’re hoping you will help us do what a label would ordinarily do to push these songs into the world. You can partner with us by becoming a sponsor of releasing the album as a whole or by directing your sponsorship to release a specific song. We would be grateful for any amount you could invest.
As a point of reference, here are the approximate expenses associated with marketing (pushing) one song to the fullest.
Social Media Ads: $500
Lyric Video: $200
Marketing to DSP (Digital Steaming Platforms): $1500
Pushing to Radio: $10,000
Music Video Production: $1000 - $8000
To illustrate the power of marketing, here are current results for 3 songs we’ve released in the last year.
1) “Don’t Let the Enemy In” - 800 streams
Released independently in April with no marketing.
2) “Running” - 160,000 streams
Released independently in Feb with Social Media and DSP marketing.
3) “Morning Song” - 1,000,000 streams
Released by Sony/Provident Record Label in 2018 using all the above marketing strategies with the exception of a radio push.
As you can see any marketing investment in a song makes a big difference!
